My 8 year old son Christian saw his doctor yesterday and he decided to take him off all steroids!!!
Today was his first steroid free day in years...I'm so excited. His doctor thinks for sure that it was mycoplasma causing all of the problems. He told me and a resident that it was a good thing that I found the research, because it may have taken him a while to get to where we are today.
It's taken years to get to this point so who knows if we would have ever reached this point if I hadn't run accross asthmastory.com! I seriously doubt anyone would have bothered with the Zithromax regimen. I just thank God that I ran accross it! Christian will be taking week 10 this Sunday so I will keep you posted on his RECOVERY! ......
P.S. Christian is taking swimming lessons. Yesterday his goup had a contest to see who could hold their breath the longest...guess who won! Can you believe that? The kid with "serious asthma" is holding his breath the longest...IT'S A MIRACLE!!! |

| Thats great! Asthma is a horrible thing to have, and I have had it for 39 years. I'm only on week 3, but I hope it works as well for me as it did your son. Congrats! |
